San Andreas rugs are inspired by the precarious geology surrounding the continental fault line in California. Simple and complex at the same time, with the view that nature is stronger than anything. White and black monotone colour palettes are used to support the simplicity and complexity of each design. The lines of contrasts wonderfully underline the vagaries of ancient nature. San Andreas rugs are machine woven exclusively, on traditional Jacquard chenille looms using 85% Cotton and 15% polyester yarns to create a 3 mm thick flat woven finish.
