Inspired by the beautiful rugs of the nomadic Qashqai Tribe.

Kashqai rugs are power loomed in Europe exclusively for Mastercraft using 100% pure worsted wool, with an impressive 670,000 points per square metre and a dense 8mm thick pile. All edges are machine sewn to achieve a neat, durable finish. Inspired by classic Oriental designs the collection includes reproductions of famous rugs that can only be found in museums or private collections, The Pazyryk is inspired by the oldest known complete rug in existence, found in the burial mound of a Scythian chieftain near the Altai mountains in 1947, the rug is believed to have been woven in 5th century BC. The Sickle Leaf Carpet design is inspired by the most expensive rug ever sold at auction, the design is a Persian Kerman and was sold by Sotheby's in 2013 for almost $34,000,000. Ideal for areas of very heavy wear anywhere in the home, available in five standard sizes options with hall runners available in selected designs.
