Hamadan is a main weaving centre which lends its name to rugs made in hundreds of surrounding villages This runner is handknotted in  Enjilas.These rugs have a good quality hard wearing wool pile, which is approximately 10mm thick. Each piece is a masterpiece in its own right. The pile on this piece is cropped a little higher than the usual Hamadan quality.
