Unlike some internet traders the Rugstore is a genuine rug retailer with retail premises.
We do not show pictures of rug warehouses which we don't own or quote items as in stock which we don't have.
Customers are more than welcome to visit our store to view the rugs on our site.
We have traded from our present site since 1987.
We have the largest choice of quality rugs in the North East of England. |

Our rugs are sourced from reputable companies who we feel have sound principles and quality goods.
We hand pick all of our stock ensuring quality and source.
We have various labeling systems instore to ensure bonded child labour is not used during production of our rugs, these include Rugmark, Care & Fair and Kaleen.
We are among a handful of retailers in the UK who are Retail Partners with Rugmark (see the rugmark link on our homepage for more details)
We have extensive stocks of Handknotted rugs including Persian rugs in Fine Tabriz and Fine Nain qualities to Village Hamadan rugs and Tribal rugs from Qashgai and Turkomen weavers, Afghan rugs in Zeigler, Kundoz, Khan Mohammedi and Kazak qualities Chinese rugs in Super Washed 90 line qualities to Silk 300 line qualities, Beautiful Agra designs handknotted in India using natural dyes, Tibetan weave Nepalese rugs and Handknotted Pakistan rugs and Carpets in one -off Fine Persian designs to the programmed Bokhara designs all these rugs are available from small area rugs to large carpet sizes.
We carry Modern rugs and Traditional rugs in Hand tufted Wool, Handknotted wool and Machine made Wilton Rugs from the Worlds finest producers.We are A main stockist of Nourison Rugs and Carpets,
Handmade Carpets, Gooch Oriental Rugs, Asiatic Rugs to name but a few.
Due to the nature of our changing stock, we do not produce a brochure.
Our site is updated on a daily basis to reflect our changing stock.
