Inspired by an original William Morris design.
Hand tufted in India using a soft pure new wool yarn to create a dense 15 mm thick pile, with delicate hand carved detailing. All edges are hand serged with matching yarn to achieve a neat and durable edge finish. Designed by William Morris for wallpaper in 1876 Pimpernel is typical of some of Morris’ greatest designs and hung in his own dining room at Kelmscott House Hammersmith. With its mirrored symmetry and curling stems circling wind-swept flower heads this glorious interpretation has been created to sit alongside the extensive range of fabrics and wall coverings from Morris and Co.This design is available in four standard size options, please contact us for lead times on the 350 x 250 size.
