Hajji Jallili is possibly the most famous of all the Tabrizi weavers, his workshop produced some of the finest Persian rugs made in the early 1900's, most of his rugs are now either in museums or private collections , this collection pays homage to classical Persian design. Hand knotted in Pakistan the pile is machine spun semi worsted wool. Veg and mineral dye stuffs are used to create an amazing array of colours and a very subtle abrash across the short and extremely dense pile.
