Neutral taupe and grey with subtle abrash by The Vintage and Modern Rug Co.
Gabbeh rugs are hand woven in India using a blend of high quality wool and silky viscose yarns to create a dense 12 mm thick pile. The sides of each rug is hand serged in matching yarns and ends are folded with hand sewn detail in the kilim. A final hand washing process enhances the lustre of the pile. Inspired by traditional Persian Gabbeh rugs still woven today by the Qashqai and Luri tribes of Iran, these rugs are ideal for use throughout the home are well suited to both contemporary and more traditional settings. Neutral shades of taupe and grey with subtle variation in colour and hue across the pile surface which is known as abrash, adds a more authentic look to each piece. Available in three standard size options.
