Named after an old Venetian palace , the colours of each rug all carries the names of old Venetian and Italian noble families of the Renaissance. Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into every rug produced by Louis de Poortere. Palazzo Da Mosto rugs are machine woven on traditional jacquard Wilton looms in 85% cotton chenille yarns and 15% high gloss polyester, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ‘vintage’ look. Featuring a fashionable flat woven chenille construction with a finished thickness of approximately 3 mm, each rug is hand finished with folded edges and reinforced corners.
