Three distinctive vintage collections are given the signature Louis de Poortere "antique" treatment, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ‘vintage’ look. The FW Medallion central motif with an ancient theme brought to life with vibrant colour accents making the designs both contemporary and stylish. Generation has links with the disruptive events of the Sixties, when the upcoming generation upset the establishment. Hence the bold streaks and the “aggression of time" on the colours and the classical design. The chenille construction creates a 3mm thick flatweave rug without a pile, each rug is hand finished with folded edges and reinforced corners.
