Baobab Rugs

Inspired by the tree symbol of Senegal, to which its inhabitants lend miraculous virtues and magical powers.

Baobab takes the African molded forms of the celebrated tree. The spirits of the ancestors are supposed to live in the trunk of these gigantic trees. The bewitchment of its forms makes it possible to hide the very spirit of a design made of small bark on a trunk whose roots perpetuate African magic. Baobab rugs are machine woven on traditional jacquard looms using 100% polyester yarns to create a 5 mm thick flat woven construction, each rug is hand finished with folded edges and reinforced corners.
