Beautiful abstract designs inspired by the winter gales whipped up into the sands of Long Island.

Streaks is inspired by the sandy shores of New Jersey and Long Island. Whipped by the winter gales, designing ripples and streaks in the sand as if they were abstract paintings. Atlantic Streaks rugs are woven on jacquard looms using 85% cotton and 15% high gloss polyester yarns. The chenille construction creates a 3 mm thick flatweave finish without a pile. Louis de Poortere weave over a century of skill and craftsmanship into each rug, multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail. All edges are hand finished with reinforced corners.
