Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into every rug produced by Louis de Poortere, Antiquarian Kilim rugs are machine woven in Belgium on traditional jacquard Wilton looms in 65% cotton yarns and 15% fantasy cotton and 15% wool yarns, each beautiful rug has multiple layers of texture, distressed areas and intricate stitching detail to give a true ‘vintage’ look. Featuring a fashionable flat weave chenille construction with a finished thickness of approximately 3 mm, each rug is hand finished with folded edges and reinforced corners.
