The 8879 Fahrenheit New York Fall from Louis de Poortere is part of our yellow & gold rugs collection.
A brand new design in the New York inspired Mad Men Collection is Fahrenheit 32. The figure is the freezing point zero degrees celsius and refers to the chilling winds of the New York late fall and winter period, when the wind chills and even polar vortexes bring frost, snow and ice to the city. The pattern evokes the marks left by the skaters on the ice of the Wollman Rink. Fahrenheit rugs are machine woven on traditional jacquard wilton looms by Louis de Poortere using 85% cotton and 15% PES polyester yarns. Over a century of skill and craftsmanship is woven into each rug with multiple layers of texture, to achieve a 3 mm thick flat weave chenille construction, each piece is hand finished with reinforced corners. Available in five standard size options, manufacturer recommends professional dry clean only.
