Hajji Jallili is possibly the most famous of all the Tabrizi weavers, his workshop produced some of the finest Persian rugs made in the early 1900s, most of his rugs are now either in museums or private collections , this collection pays homage to classical Persian design. Handknotted in Pakistan the pile is machine spun semi worsted wool. Veg and mineral dyestuffs are used to create an amazing array of colours and a very subtle abrash across the short and extremely dense pile. Only the very best weavers are allowed to work on these amazing works of art.
