Qashgai Rugs are considered to be  the finest examples of Persian Tribal Art still made today.We believe our stocks of these beautiful rugs are the very best examples available today. These rugs are handknotted in Southern Iran by the Pastoral Nomadic Qashqai people.Their rugs are renowned for the quality of materials used , inventive use of colour and design and execution of their art.The pile is about 8 - 10mm thick  handspun and hand dyed quality wool.The rugs are gently washed to enhance the natural sheen of the wool and sunned for a minimum of three months before they are shipped to us.
